JOB TITLE: Maintenance and Security Operations Manager
SALARY & HOURS: £42,576, 40 Hours per Week

The Corporate and Professional Services departments are the cornerstone of the University. They each provide essential and valuable support to both each other and the Academic departments, helping the University to function in the most efficient and productive way, ensuring that the students’ experience is second to none.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Estates Department for an Estates and Security Manager to join the Estates Leadership Team.
This is a rare opportunity to lead critical front-line services across a diverse and expanding estate comprising academic buildings, student accommodation, commercial facilities, event spaces, sports facilities and historic properties.
You will provide leadership and strategic direction for the University's Maintenance and Security functions, ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant, efficient and customer-focused services. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, operational budgets, specialist contractors and service providers, whilst driving service excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
The successful applicant will ideally possess significant experience within Estates, Facilities, Property, Operational or Security Management together with proven leadership, contractor management and budget management experience. The post also demands excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management, comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety and statutory compliance requirements, and advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
